The Wild Utah Project is a 501(c)(3) conservation organization that helps our partners protect wild places by using the principles of conservation biology. We are looking for a GIS analyst to work in our Salt Lake office.
 
Candidates should have:

  • A commitment to our conservation vision:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong experience in GIS data preparation, analysis, and cartographic skills
  • Experience with ESRI Software
  • Database and data management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience in supervising college level GIS interns
  • Background in biology or public lands management
  • Web application of GIS technology
  • Mobile application of GIS technology
  • Information Technology site management experience

Salary and other compensation are fair, realistic, and competitive. This position can be either part, or full time.
